The newly developed 3.8-liter engine is a six-cylinder boxer. It's again designed with a low profile to keep the car's center of gravity as low as possible. The road becomes less winding as we get closer to the valley. This gave us the opportunity to test acceleration using Launch-Control. On our way to our test drive, we drove along a stretch of German autobahn with no speed limit. This presents the Turbo S with a perfect opportunity to push its capabilities to the limit. Even if you're traveling at 200km/h, when you step on the gas, the acceleration will still push you back into your seat. We reached 330 km/h (205 mph) with ease before increased traffic prevented further high speed travel. Thanks to its active aerodynamics and extended front and rear spoilers, the Turbo S clings safely to the road, while its driver feels like Han Solo aboard the Millennium Falcon as it traverses hyperspace, including tunnel vision and blurry stars.
